He continues his education yearly so that he’s always able to offer the best of modern dentistry to his patients.

Patient Testimonial: Marcia Clark

Marcia Clark was a patient that was extremely unhappy with her smile. Multiple teeth were breaking, they were discolored and stained, and they were crooked and misshapen as well. When something was funny, she was afraid to let out the laughter she wanted to because people would see her teeth.

In this video, Marcia notes the various problems she had with her smile. Dr. Auster discusses implementing a trial smile and getting Marcia used to the new teeth she could have. A more permanent restoration was made and now Marcia doesn’t have to worry about covering her mouth when she laughs!

Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry

Cosmetic Dentistry Associates offers multiple forms of cosmetic and restorative dentistry if you have issues similar to Marcia’s. For broken teeth, there are several treatments that can be performed, depending on the severity.

First, tooth bonding can be used for minor chips and breaks. A composite material is shaped to cover the chip and to make the tooth look natural. Porcelain veneers can be used to go on the outside of the tooth. These cover both chips and cracks, discoloration, and crooked or misshapen teeth. A dental crown is used for severe breaks. It goes over the complete tooth, restoring stability and functionality in the tooth.

For discolored teeth, we offer teeth whitening services. We have both in-office and take-home options. For some stains, such as the ones caused by medications, stronger measures may be needed. Porcelain veneers or tooth bonding can be used to whiten teeth in situations where teeth whitening won’t work.

If you have crooked teeth, Invisalign may be an option for you. Using clear aligners that are personalized for your mouth, they’re changed every couple weeks to straighten your smile. If you don’t have a severe case, porcelain veneers can be used to cover your crooked teeth and blend in with the rest of your smile.
