Our Restorative Dentistry Services
We offer a variety of conservative dentistry services that allow us to preserve the maximum amount of healthy tooth structure while completely restoring your healthy, beautiful smile. Some of the most common restorative dentistry services we provide include the following:
Dental Crowns & Bridges
Dental crowns are restorations that fit completely over the top of damaged teeth. This performs two functions. First, it replaces lost tooth structure, and second, the dental crown protects teeth from further damage. Fixed bridges are tooth replacement prosthetics that use dental crowns to support one or more replacement teeth. The prosthetic tooth or teeth are fused together in a row with a dental crown on both ends. The crowns are then attached to surrounding healthy teeth that provide support for the whole tooth replacement prosthetic. Both dental crowns and bridges are custom crafted and available made from a variety of materials, including tooth-colored porcelain.
Tooth Colored Fillings
For minor tooth decay and dental damage, tooth-colored composite resin can be used to seamlessly restore your smile in just one appointment. The putty-like composite resin seeps into even the smallest pits and grooves in teeth, creating a seamless, beautiful restoration that lasts for decades. We can even use tooth-colored filling materials to cosmetically enhance the smile, concealing chips, cracks, stains, and gaps in teeth.
Dentures & Partial Dentures
To replace numerous consecutive and nonconsecutive missing teeth or a full row of teeth, partial and full dentures are used. Partial dentures are advanced tooth replacement prosthetics used to fill in the gaps in patients’ smiles. A gum colored base supports the replacement teeth, and the whole prosthetic is held in position with clasps attached to surrounding healthy teeth. Full dentures replace an entire row of missing teeth. Because there are no remaining teeth to provide support, the full denture is crafted to fit snuggly against the gum line. This close fit creates suction between the denture base and soft tissue that provides adequate stability for many patients. A small amount of denture adhesive can also be used to improve the function of your prosthetic.
Dental implants are versatile tooth replacement prosthetics that can be used to replace any number of missing teeth. From a single lost tooth to a complete row of teeth, we can use a strategic number of implant posts to support a flawless, natural looking and functioning dental prosthetic.
